Elena Jeane Devey 1-10-2009 5 lbs. 6 oz. 17.5 in.

At one thirty in the morning on January 10th, after 19 long hours of labor, we got to meet our beautiful baby Elena! :) She was so tiny and so cute!! Her eyes were wide open and she was sticking her tongue out at all of us. The doctor called her a "little peanut" and the nickname has sorta stuck. Now that she's five weeks old, it's hard to believe how much time has flown by. She's now a chubby little baby who makes funny faces and dirties more diapers than we ever thought possible. She's everybody's favorite and hardly goes a minute without being held. We didn't fully realize how much our lives would change when we became parents. It's so much more than being tired all the time, and having a house that is taken over by baby stuff. We've completely fallen head over heels in love with the sweetest gift we've ever been given and look forward to the opportunity we have to have her in our life.
