Well, on August 23, 2008 Erin and I were married! Thanks to a lot of help from my family we had an amazing wedding. My family has owned a catering company longer than I've been alive. So that made all the wedding planning really easy. My mom took care of all the floral, my dad the photography. My grandma Jeanie made our cake which was amazing!!! And the rest of the family my aunt Lorie especially helped out with all the other food. I really owe a ton to my family for all their help. The wedding was perfect...minus a little bit of stress because Alyssa one of Erin's sisters wasn't on her way yet from Logan. Well, she made it on time and everything went well. I can't believe how long and short standing in the line was. It was crazy not knowing soo many people, but it was cool to see how many people, friends and family, really do support and love us. I'm so grateful for all the friends and family that we do have. It really meant soo much to me and Erin to see soo many people come and congratulate us and wish us luck.
Well...after the reception, all the cake cutting and everything it was time to get on our way. My parents were nice enough to buy a room for us in Park City for a couple of nights. On our way there parking was terrible, not to mention it was impossible to find our hotel on main st. We figured it'd be easy to see...well we drove up and down main st. like 8 times trying to find it...yeah it wasn't embarrassing at all I mean with our car completely covered with the shaving cream and window paint of being newleyweds....it was fun. Well we found everything and got into our room. To shorten the story our stay in Park City was fun, we hit the alpine slide and the new coaster and it was just an all around great time together :)

Erin and I were engaged on May 14th, 2008.
It was a pretty great day...she was at work and I had the day off. Well, the idea was stewing for quite some time well I had a window so I took it and here's how the proposal went down. I picked her up for lunch and we went and got a pizza. Then drove to a park where we had a little picnic. While I was at the mall before we got the pizza I bought her favorite perfume that she hinted at (a ton) that she wanted. Well I hid it in the jockey box of the car and after our pizza picnic I had her open it and she was SUPER EXCITED that I had bought it for her. Well I had to take her back to work and then the planning went down. Right after I dropped her off I drove up the street and bought a pot with a Cala Lily plant (her favorite flower) and then brought that home. We have a favorite song that's in spanish by "Il Divo" that I had to translate so that she could have a copy of everything the song says. Well that took a little bit to get completely translated. After that I had taken all the notes that we had written to each other and the lyrics of the song and displayed them all on the coffee table in the living room in my apartment and had it all set up all cute like. Then I had to go get a hair cut. I was pretty shaggy and wanted to look good. Well I went to get my haircut and realized I still needed to have some more surprises for her when she got off work. Well I went to Walmart right next to the hair place and bought a huge box of Ferrero Rocher's. After I got everything ready I took a quick shower and got all dressed up with a shirt and tie and drove over to Dillard's. Well as she came out I got out of the car with the chocolates and opened her door. I was totally nervous...but she was unsuspecting so that's all that mattered. Well I drove us back to the apartment and had everything set up. Then I played the song, "Hasta mi Final." when we walked in the apartment. About halfway through the song I took the ring box from the base of the flowers and got down on one knee. I had everything planned what I wanted to say...but that all went out the window when my heart was humming along at 300 bpm....haha. Well to make a long story more long she said yes, we both cried a little...or at least I did and that was that.
